Elevator Technician/Helper (All Locations)

Job Description

AEL’s Elevator Technician/Helper Technician will be responsible for installation, service, and repair of accessibility equipment. Basic mechanical and electrical skills with problem solving capabilities. Must be able to troubleshoot low voltage circuits to their components. Lift up to 100 lbs., stand on a ladder and not be afraid of heights. Read basic drawings and electrical schematics. Read and write the English language proficiently. Have a clean driving record with a valid driver’s license. Able to follow instructions, make suggestions, and is willing to learn. Work 40-50 hours with out of town work. Preference will be given to candidates with Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in electrical or engineering fields.
